Hyaluron is produced by the body itself and is therefore very well tolerated. However, since it is an intervention in the body, reactions such as small swellings, or hematomas may occur. Optimal aftercare reduces the side effects to a minimum.

The effect of the cheek augmentation treatment is visible immediately and lasts up to twelve months. The easily tolerated Hyaluronic acid is completely and naturally broken down by the body over time. When the effect is no longer visible, it can be refreshed with another filler treatment.

Hyaluronic acid injections are a minimally invasive treatment in which a precise dose of hyaluronic acid is injected in less than 30 minutes. Hyaluron Filler is injected into the treated area and the desired shape is modeled.

Pain perception is known to be subjective and varies from person to person. However, as this is a minimally invasive treatment, the pain is significantly reduced compared to a surgical procedure. The treated area can be locally anesthetized if desired. Thus, cheek augmentation with hyaluron is practically painless.

Aftercare

Good aftercare is crucial!

After cheek augmentation, you're usually able to go out in public right away. Mild swelling or redness is normal and usually subsides after a few days.

Treatment with hyaluronic acid is well tolerated and lasts up to 12 months, depending on the individual’s constitution and the amount injected. Since hyaluronic acid is naturally broken down by the body, the results can be refreshed at any time.

Care tips

After treatment

Follow the recommendations of our doctors to minimize swelling and reactions as much as possible.

Do not touch or massage the treated areas during the first few days
• Avoid alcohol, smoking, and makeup for 24 hours
• Avoid saunas, tanning beds, sun exposure, and intense exercise
• Gently cool the cheek area if necessary
• Cleanse your skin only with gentle skincare products
• Drink enough water

Mild swelling, redness, or small bruises are normal after treatment and usually subside after a few days.

Follow-up treatment is generally not necessary. If more significant irregularities occur, we offer a free checkup or correction within two weeks.
