Sculptra is an innovative method of skin rejuvenation that focuses on the targeted stimulation of the body's own collagen production. Unlike other filling materials, Sculptra is based on poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible and biodegradable material that renews the skin structure from the inside out. After four weeks, a second procedure is necessary to ensure the best result.
Sculptra is injected in a pleasant atmosphere in our beauty clinic. Using the finest needles, the active ingredient is placed specifically where it is needed most. The treatment usually takes no longer than 30 minutes.

Results

I had an appointment today at 5:30 pm. Another patient had an appointment at 5:00 pm, but was called by the doctor at 5:35 pm, even though my appointment was at 5:30 pm. I waited 15 minutes and then left. That is totally unprofessional! We patients rush to be on time and then they make us wait without any excuse. The patient in front of me asked why the doctor was late and the receptionist said the patient wasn't late at all... In short, there is no consideration for patients who have traveled extra. Since my day starts at 7:00 a.m., I'd rather go somewhere else and pay more than be treated so disrespectfully.

Sculptra is generally, as well as Hand rejuvenation and Tear Trough Fillervery well tolerated. As with any injection treatment, slight swelling, redness or hematomas may occasionally occur at the injection site after the Sculptra application, which usually subside on their own within a few days. We make sure that the treatment is as gentle and safe as possible for you.

One of the outstanding features of Sculptra is the longevity of the results. Many patients report improvements that last up to two years or longer. A good skincare routine and healthy lifestyle can help maximize and prolong results.

After a detailed consultation, during which your skin is analyzed and an individual treatment plan is drawn up, our experienced doctors carry out the Sculptra injections. The treatment itself takes about 30 minutes. You can go about your normal activities immediately after the treatment, with minimal restrictions.

The sensation can vary from person to person, but most patients describe the treatment as well tolerated. On request, we use a local anesthetic cream to increase comfort during the treatment.

Aftercare

Good aftercare is crucial!

Basically it comes to no major restrictions in everyday life and you will be socially acceptable again immediately after the treatment. However, you may experience minor swelling, redness and bruising immediately after the treatment; this is normal and usually subsides after a few days.

Care tips

We recommend that you strictly follow the instructions of our doctors to keep any reactions to a minimum:

What you after a Sculptra treatment should:

Cooling: Immediately after the treatment soft Cool (with a clean cool pack wrapped in cloth) to relieve swelling and discomfort. Do not place directly on the skin.

Massage, the most important aftercare measure - The 5-5-5 rule applies here: 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days.

The treated areas should be massaged gently but specifically.
This supports the even distribution of the product and helps to prevent the formation of lumps or hardening.
Use a gentle moisturizer or serum to support the skin.

Also avoid the following:

Sport & heavy physical exertionfor at least 24-48 hours.
No make-up for 24 hours, to avoid infections.
Sauna, steam bath, hot baths & direct sun/solariumAvoid for approx. 1 week.
Alcohol: It is better not to use it on the day of treatment to minimize swelling.
Further treatments (laser, microneedling, etc.)Keep at least 1-2 weeks apart.
