During the Profhilo treatment, highly concentrated hyaluronic acid is injected at specific strategic points. This is usually done according to a special treatment protocol with a few defined injection points to ensure even distribution throughout the tissue.
This provides the skin with intense hydration and stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin—for a firmer, smoother, and visibly fresher complexion.

3. Results

The effect of a Profhilo treatment usually lasts up to six months. After this period, the treatment can be repeated without any problems. The treatment can therefore be carried out around twice a year to maintain a permanently fresh complexion. Particularly beneficial: as Profhilo promotes the skin's own regeneration processes, the skin structure continues to improve between treatments.

The cost depends on the amount of product used and the areas treated, but the first treatment usually costs CHF 490. Since Profhilo works over a large area, fewer injections are usually needed than with conventional filler treatments, such as a Cheek augmentation. If you are unsure about the result you want, you can discuss further details during the consultation.

As this is only a minimally invasive treatment with a well-tolerated hyaluronic acid, side effects are rare. In some cases, slight redness, swelling or small bruises occur at the injection sites. However, these usually disappear completely within a few days. Due to the special consistency of Profhilo, the hyaluronic acid spreads evenly in the tissue and does not lead to punctual irregularities.

As Profhilo is injected under the skin with very fine needles, the pain is minimal. On request, we can also anaesthetize the treated area locally to avoid any possible pain.

Aftercare

Good aftercare is crucial!

After a Profhilo treatment, you're usually ready to go out in public right away. Mild redness or swelling may occur, but these symptoms usually subside quickly.

For optimal and long-lasting results, please follow these instructions:

• Do not touch the treated areas during the first few hours
• Avoid alcohol and smoking for 24 hours
• Gently cool the skin if necessary
• Avoid intense exercise, saunas, tanning beds, and direct sunlight for a few days
• Drink enough water to support hyaluronic acid's ability to retain moisture
• Avoid using irritating skincare products or exfoliants
